"Setting the Stage" - Transition Middle School to High School
(Late summer/early fall - 9th grade year) (S) - Students experience many challenges and joys when moving from middle school to high school. This workshop will help them gain the tools for making this a successful and powerful transition.

"Becoming the Cheerleader" - Transition Middle School to High School
Late summer/early fall - 9th grade year) (P) Parents & guardians begin their own transition process as their students move from middle school to high school. Attendees gain tools on how to be part of this important transition and how to begin to setting the stage for their students to "go out on their own".

Senior Sprint™ - Accelerated college planning
(Late summer/early fall senior year) (F) - A workshop designed to cover the key points of accelerated college planning for incoming high school seniors.

"I'm overwhelmed!" - Handling senior year "stress"
(Fall senior year) (S) - A common cry, "Will I survive all of this"? In a discussion format, senior students are invited to share their stresses and learn ways to lessen the stress of their very busy lives; the tools will make life easier for both students and their families.

"Is this normal"? - Understanding senior year "stress"
(Fall senior year) (P) Using a combination of a workshop and discussion format, parents & guardians will learn about key "stresses" that occur in the senior year. Those that have navigated the senior year are invited to share their experiences.

" So many choices!!!! - College Selection"
(sophomore, junior, senior) (F) - Students and their families will gain an overview of the whole college search and college selection process. Using the tips and tools from this workshop, they will be able to select colleges that "fit" the student.

"What do I want to do when I grow up? - Career & Major Exploration"
(Quarterly) (S) This workshop will help students identify strengths, talents and interests and how these qualities relate to selecting college majors.

"Show me the money"! - Scholarship Search
(Quarterly) (F) - Students and families learn how to find and apply for scholarships that are the best fit for the student.

"Better than a broadcast journalist" - Campus Visits & College Interviews (Quarterly) (F) Students learn how to conduct an effective campus visit and gain skills for putting the best foot forward during Admission interviews - first impressions count!

We're Packing Our Bags.
(spring senior year) (F) - Seniors and their families will learn how to prepare for the actual "going off to college" event - what to pack, what about roommates, building strong self management skills, dealing with homesickness, doing laundry, being on one's own and more.

NOTE: "the college planning coach" provides individual and group coaching on the college planning process. Coaching is available to both students and their families.
